Help! How do I get my name removed??

Hello all.

I need help in getting my name removed when someone types it in Google? It was coming up from a friends website and she removed the link but you still see my name under results and where it was.

I have no idea how to do this.

leave a 404 page in its place and submit the page for inclusion to Google.... should get kicked.... otherwise change the text on the old page to say good things about you....

or 301 it to any url you have that is good

Using NOINDEX tags on the pages might help, but your best bets are a redirect or password-protecting the site if you've got control over your server. If you've already removed the pages from the site, and are worried about just having your name there, I'm sure when the next Google index recrawls your site it should drop from the listings. Unfortunately Google prefers not to manually tamper with organic results, so it'll just be a matter of time before the indexing adjusts to your new pages/redirects/etc.
