Negative Result in Google

Hi Everybody,

I am working for one of my clients and for his main target keyword, there is a negative result in Google SERP which can hamper the brand of the client. I have tried various techniques like blogs, directory submissions, article and PR submissions. I have also submitted the site in some social media sites but still no positive outcome.

Can anyone suggest anything that I am missing out on?
