I wanted to know what everyone thought of Verison's (and Im sure there are others) video sem program theyre offering businesses.
Effectively, they get Jim Bob from Jim Bob's Plumbing, and tell him to talk about his pipe snake and crescent wrench and how he fixes pipes for 2 min, while they shoot him with a camcorder. No high production values, no frills, usually done all in a single shot, they look like home videos.
From what I've seen a couple make you tube, a couple make things like spikes video section, but they're all boring as hell, they drive no traffic, and for what? A single link? Maybe two?
I think this COULD be a great idea, however I think its being implemented wrong. Thoughts?
