Hi all,
I am looking to start a travel website. I want someone to design a travel website or choose from travel website designs or travel website free templates. I have friends who are making a lot of money in the travel affiliates website business and I want to do the same. Does anyone have any idea that can help me out? Your suggestion will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

First question is what is the business model that you are looking at. Based on the business model you can have a domain booked from Godaddy or any other domain booking site. Once all that is done you can then go in for a professional web designing company or may choose from free templates. Once the website is done all you need to do is hire a SEm manager who can work for you towards promoting your websites

Travel is uber-competitive - and rewarding if successful. My work is 100% travel websites and the competition is fierce! Look at sites that would be competing with your business model and do it better. Remember an adequate (hopefully ABOVE adequate) marketing budget for a travel website is critical!

You might test your plan w/ a simple website and some PPC ads to see if the traffic and potential ROI is worth the time to build and SEO a competitive site.

Aussie is right, you're probably better off picking a niche that is under-served, then be the best in that neighborhood. Once you have a following, expand into other neighborhoods.

Good Luck
