Member of forums ig good SEO ?

Hi every body,

I have read somewhere about the being the member of some forums this will have improve the position of my site in the search engine . So i have tried to register in many forums, and add my webiste in each profile . This will help my website ?

No, being a member of forums and posting won't raise rankings and besides, many forums don't allow profiles to be indexed, for this very reason.

Some forums allow links to your website (which will probably raise your rankings) and others don't.
Anyway, spamming forums is not a good way to achive rankings.

Through forum posting, your site might be indexed faster by search engines. But another thing is being a member of any forum and having a good participation will help you develop your knowledge and skills

Welcome to SEW! As Marcia said, posting on forums will not increase your ranking. Being indexed and ranking high for a particular keyword term are two different things. Stick around here long enough and you may find out how to do both!
