I noticed an entry on the SEW blog about a vertical search engine called reportlinker.com, which claims to be a FREE search engine for vertical industry information. It's not. It requires a subscription. The post is linked below.

A free vertical search engine for industry information is free-research.com, which lists 28 separate industry sectors, and indexes market research reports, over 10,000 companies (with annual reports, 10ks and presentations) as well as market insights and links to associations. There is also a news page indexed by 27 separate industry sectors. AND this one is FREE. Just register and get free access.
