Hi,

I am looking for a software package that will enable me to analyse a sites back links. I would like to run it every month comparing which links have disappeared and any that are new.

The main thing is checking each month what links are missing.

Can anybody help?

In other words, you want to find 'broken links'?

Try this:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=broken+links

or search for 'broken links tool', etc.

P.S.: Does anyone of you SEOs NOT use Google most of the time? I find it incredible that I'm still using Google 99% of the time lol.

Best bet will be to use Google Webmaster tool to download your back links report and then track them in Excel file or some simple sql DB

That seo elite looks extremely spammy. Cheers for your help anyway.

Sorry I just mean you see a lot of these sites which are one long page with big yellow and red text etc. Spammy’s not really the right word. Scam is better (no offence) I don't know what the software is like and it only costs $167. I am just really cautious of these sites.

No, I use Xenu for that. I need to check incoming links from other sites. So for instance if my ranking drops one month I can check to see if I have lost any critical links.
