Hi.
I'm a newbie.
I have a website that gathers news from persian sites. there is a link to the source of each news. If I want to know when users are clicking this links I have to use a page to redirect the links. for example:
http://newslink.ir/redirect.php?url=http://news.google.com

my problem is that I don't know what is the difference between direct link and redirecting the link to another website for search engines.
what are the effects of redirecting for my website and the sites that I link to them?
If I should redirect the links what is the best way to do it?

thanks.

Hi ghayoumi

Using the redirection you describe:

Q. what are the effects of redirecting for my website
A. none

Q. and the sites that I link to them?
A. They get your traffic, but not your link love

Q. If I should redirect the links what is the best way to do it?
A. Best way to achieve what? If it works for you - then it works for you.

my web site adds 1000-3000 pages every day.
is there any effect for ranking that I have 100,000 external links?

I like the built in redirect - makes the content look like your site - no loss of link juice but the readers get the content you want them to from Google etc.
