Referring link

I'm getting a lot of hits from a referring link that doesn't make much sense.
The link is us.f319.mail.yahoo.com / referral.
I know a lot of other websites get traffic from this link.
Can someone explain what exactly is behind this link?

There could have been a link posted in a message in a Yahoo email group. If so, that's all the information you'll get from the referrer.

I believe it is from a Yahoo webmail account. If so it is a good thing because people are spreading the word about your website (or reading your email newsletters).

Yes, this is from Yahoo Mail. sem4u is absolutely right in the sense that this means your site is getting free word-of-mouth advertising through email.
