Facebook runs AdWords look alike ads

I was just on Facebook and noticed what looked exactly like AdWords text ads. Of course they were not AdWords, but served by some operation called Pulse 360. I wish Facebook would stop messing around and just go with AdWords and especially as Beacon does not seem to be shining so bright :)

Anybody know more these ads?
