Hi,

I am looking for an SEM tool that does the following:

1. Manage multiple SEM Google, MSN, Yahoo campaigns
2. Offers bid optimization tools

If you know of any companies that offers this service I would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks,

Michael

Sorry for the confusion. I am interested in a tool that will allow me to manage all of my Yahoo, Google etc campaigns in one interface such as add keywords, campaigns, ad groups, text ads etc. In addition, I would like a tool that can provide me with reports, charts on key SEM performance metrics (CTR, impressions, cost etc)

I have not seen one though it could be done ..... but you would lose a lot of the specific things each can do.... all three have bulk upload and bulk download so you would be pulling and pushing reports basically....

I am looking for the same thing. I did research several months ago.

I didn't want just a bid mgmt tool. My goal was to find a tool that 1.) has a flexible interface where I could see across the engines and even compare between client accounts 2.) has easy editing features 3.) reporting.

I ended up with two finalists: searchIgnite and Acquisio.
SearchIgnite seemed like a typical software focused on bid management. Aquisio is a relatively new tool that seemed to have what I was looking for. But it was mostly a vision and they weren't there yet. So I ended up with nothing.

However, at this point I realize I need a tool, even if it doesn't do everything. If it were just google, I could manage fine with google editor (which i absolutely LOVE). But yahoo and msn are the problems. Logging in and nagivating around takes up too much time.

So, I am going back to my notes and looking again. I would also appreciate people's feedback on the software they are using and the pros and cons.

KAZAAM by Kenshoo (for the record I work for Kenshoo).

Has a light easy to use GUI, APIs to the three major engines - Google, MSN & Yahoo.
Does Keyword Generation.
Has taken bid management one step farther - quality management.
Has cool reporting.

PM if you're interested in a demo.

You should also look at Marin Software as well as Clickable, two more recent SEM technology firms whose products I've looked at in the last couple months.

Hi all, I am the president of acquisio. I ran into this thread abut SEM software and thought I should chime in, since our name comes up in the comments above. The product has been up and running out of Beta for more than 3 months now, and we even have a few dozen reputable agencies running it for all their accounts.

The tool offers a few unique options.

- multi-engine bulk editor, think AdWords Editor for Google and Yahoo. MSN coming this month. This is pretty straightforward, I think everyone can understand the value it brings.

- campaign optimizer - you select which metric you want to maximize (impressions, clicks, conversions) or minimize (cost). Then you use sliders to play with constraints. For example, you could say minimize my cost, and maintain 100% of my conversions, none of my impressions and none of my clicks. The software shoulds you a solution you can implement that will meet the criteria you defined. Very useful for campaigns with lots of long tail that are not producing good results.

- client-ready, white label report builder - automates the production of your monthly client reports, which you can edit, comment, modify at will. Very useful for agencies and consultants.

I guess I wanted to point out that we're no longer just a prototype, the product is available and we'll be glad to answer any questions you may have or give you a demo if you need one.

SearchIgnite and Marin Software both have tools that cover this
