Anyone else noticed a huge drop in impressions for PPA campaigns the last 2 weeks?

Actually no, a slight increase. Are you talking about your impressions as an advertiser? In that case it could be the simple fact that one publisher decided not to use your offer any longer.

Yes as an advertiser. The drop is like 70%+, I just wanted to rule out any technical issue.

As a publisher, I saw a drop in revenue. We dropped the PPA experiment a few weeks ago. I think it was only 5 percent of our ads on our site, but it was not worth the loss in revenue.

One more thing, I think Google is playing with fire for even getting involved with PPA. PPC has created the largest advertising phenomenon in the world. I understand they want that market as well, but if I were them, I would keep it separate.

One more thing - how does a publisher know if someone actually purchased anything (or signed up)? Is there a way of cheating on that? Curious.

only cheat would be for email sign ups... purchases would be tough
