I think for most of our ads we check-boxed both image or text. We have had both appearing on our site for years.
Which is best?
Personally, I think it may depend on where the ad is placed and what the ad looks like. I think text ads are better because banners scream "advertisement". But do people read the banners and click on them more than the text ads?
