I am having an Art related website which is having good features like photographic services to users. The traffic for my site is in between 20-30. I want to increase the traffic. So, I am using directory, articles and forum submissions manually. But, I am unable to increase the traffic. Can I use the Semi-automatic tools for submitting to directories, articles? Please suggest me in this regard.

can a bear sh*t in the woods? Perhaps a better question would be "should I?" In that case, nope (IMO)

No. You can get traffic by boosting your backlinks and your link popularity... Social Bookmarking, Blogging, Forum postings, etc....

I won't suggest using automated tools. Just stay with the natural way which is manual method. At least you can check the status of the site and you have the assurance that they are quality enough...

The tool I mentioned in the previous post is "Website Submitter" from Submitsuite, I had done all the processes you mentioned like Bookmarking, forum posting, article submissions. But, unable to increase the traffic. So, shall I use this tool in which they are providing a number of directories list through which my site will get indexed in all those sites. But, What my doubt is, if this is treated as spam, my site will be blocked. So, give me your suggestions.

these tools are a complete waste of time. It will depend on how agreessive you are being but this shouldn't be an issue if you are not using these tools - so don't use them. Do it manually - yes it's longer (imagine having to work for a living) but more effective as long as you are targeting the right websites. I will leave it up to you to determine the right websites for YOU.

You would be better spending your time understanding the importance of links and understanding what types of links you need for your business. You should be able to define what quality and relevance means for you and understand the importance of obtaining links from the largest traffic drivers.

forum postings and blog postings are pure garbage and a complete waste of time IMO - I'm assuming your not an established member of these forums when I am making this point.

Directory listings may still have some benefit but if all you do is submit to directories, blogs and forums you will have a serious problem

Hi Krogers,

I would recommend looking at your competitiors site, or any in the top ten spots, for the keywords you are looking for, and see who they link too, who sends them the most traffic, and then apply to get your link on there site.

Look at the catgegory's linked to your site. I would imagine there will be a must site which you should look to get included in.

Tell you what because im feeling generous pm me your site, and ill have a basic look for you.

kind regards
neil
