Wow, is this thing useless now or what? No negative functionality and virtually no relevant variations given.
Has anyone tried to use this thing since they updated it a couple of weeks ago? For some reason, when I enter the keyphrase "term", it suggests almost no variations of this even though there are thousands of high volume search terms with "term" as one of the words. And the few that it does are totally irrelevant. :confused:

Don't panic. This has happened to me several times, but it always seems to revert to its "normal self" after a while. I'm not sure what's going on.

I think the problem I am having is that the keyword tool will not provide variations on trademarked terms, even if you are the trademark owner and/or have been authorized through your Adwords account to use the trademarked terms.
Damn, thats annoying for me!

Oh, yes, they have eliminated suggestions on trademark terms. For example, just try getting suggestions for keyword google. There used to be zillions, now nothing. However, just head on over to..

I'm more annoyed by the negative keyword suggestions going away. Not sure why they did that, but I'm working around it by just putting in a keyword, looking at the suggestions, and then listing negatives in the "add your own" box to the right as I see them.

Yeah, I know about keyword tools, it was just so much easier to add to the account through Google. And the no negatives is annoying too!
