Hello:

I have a bit of a desperate urgent problem. SOme days ago we found that google had cached a page from the site which was supposed to have been private. I am in trouble now with people listed on the page who are demanding that I show them IPs of people who accessed the google cache. I understand that there would have been a way to trace cache accesses if there were images on the page. However unfortunately there were no images on my page - just text. Does google keep a log of who accesses the cached version of a file? Is it possible to get such a log from google? If yes, how? Is there any other way to get a list of the IPs who have visited and viewed the cached page?

Any help will be greatly appreciated - am really desperate to get this information.

No way. You would need a court order and seeing that governments have trouble getting this type of information from google even after going to court, I don't think you would have a chance.
I am assuming you have had the page removed from the Google index, aside from that if Googlebot misbehaved and indexed something from your site you had forbidden via robots.txt etc. Google could be held liable, sue 'em!
As far as retrieving logs from G forget it.
