Hi-

I have been doing research here on seowatch and these boards for a few weeks now. I have recently been asked to work on SEO and SEM for three websites that my company owns and manages. This is not my forte, actually what little I know I have learned by reading and from a little bit of SEO and SEM work I did years ago.

I have a basic question that I am finding conflicting answers for, if you can believe that! LOL

Should the following meta tags be palced on every page in a site or simply just the landing page:

Title
Description
Keyword

I would really appreciate some feedback. Like I said, I have been made responsbile for executing however I have very little knowledge, as you can see from my very basic quetion.

Sorry to waste your keystrokes on such a basic question. Much thanks! :D

Every page of the site should have unique Title and Meta tags (description and keywords).

every page has the potential to be a landing page as well...read into "long tail"

I wouldn't invest too much resources/time on the keywords meta content. Content and title are shown in search results to some degree depending on the engine.

Every page but each one should be unique to it's page.

By the way, welcome to sew :)

Some site's with several pages usually have different content and/or topic in every pages. If that's the case then the pages should have unique title and description
