Adwords Newbie needs help

Hai,
I have two sites, with same theme, but their sevice area only differs. Meaning both sites serve two different states/region in a country.

So both sites share same country related keywords, but different regional keywords.

I run Adwords for one of the sites for 2 years and for the another site for the last 6 months(the site is just 8 months old).

For the country related keywords, the Max CPC are much higher when compared to my old site. Simply saying my ols site's Adwords work fine, than the new one.

How the Max CPC differs much between these sites? Is old sites perform well compared to new sites in Adwords?

I'm not sure I understand your question, but it sounds like your new site, and therefore the ads for your new site, haven't had time to build up a Quality Score yet. This will result in higher CPCs. Hang in there, keep testing and refining, and your QS will improve.
