Need seo advice for meta and keyword placement

Hi all, I'm new here, there are lots of guides on the net about using meta and keyword placement. Here are my questions that might be on someone's else question list also:

1. What kind of meta tags those usually are recommended? So far I only use meta keyword, description and language. is that enough?

2. Should meta keywords have the same content for all of pages I have in my web site or I can add some according to the specific topic I write on the page?

3. Where should I put keywords in my web site? I usually put in title, meta keyword, heading and anchor text. are there any suggestions?

1. You might start with meta description and then get more advanced later.

2. "Meta tags" like "meta keywords" should be unique for each page.

3. You should use keywords where they make sense. If they make sense in all of the places you listed I'd use them but if not I wouldn't. This is kind of one of those page by page issues. Not all pages are the same. Either way you may also consider the URL.
