My server went down today

My server has been down today for several hours. I'm concerned about the spiders not being able to crawl my site.

Can you tell me if this will hurt me in my SERPs?

How long can you be down without getting messed up in the search engines?

no need to worry, I doubt your ranking will be affected (even in the short term).
