We are starting to get into net (pod)casting and web-based business enterprises and need to promote our websites, netcasts, blogs, etc.. We are researching and discovering lots of good ways to self-promote, but we also want to enlist the help of a good SEO company with a proven track record to augment our own efforts. Given that there are hundreds of web site design company on the net clamoring for our business, how do we find one that will get the job done for us? Is there a forum of some kind where we can find some relevant, informed input on this?

Its very difficult to assess anyones expertise in SEO. Its better to go by reference. .U should give importance to the content with some major keywords(not over stuffed) and title, header, meta description & meta keywords, site map etc. Secondly, getting links from relevant sites are most important factory. Even if the links from PR0 page but very much relevant makes lots of difference than a links from non-relevant PR5 page. The more the links the better the ranking and unique traffic.
