Recently I've seen that Google has crawled my site, all of my pages come up under a search of the URL.
However no PR has been established. Generally how much time does it take after the index to start getting PR, if that's possible to say for now.
It is being linked to from 8 -10 established sites. 4-5 for main index and rest for secondary pgs. stats reveal traffic passing through this way.

PageRank is more about linkage data than just crawling your page. right now they have not updated toolbar PageRank in something like a 100 days. The PageRank in the Google Directory has been showing an update with these last few link updates.
Usually its like a month to two depending on when they find you in their crawl cycle and when they update the display PageRank.

From my observations, Google isn't displaying the backlinks it's using for PR.
They seem to be playing a game of displaying a seperate set of backlinks with the toolbar than those it uses from PR.
I think many of these are actually located in "Pages the contain" the url, in an attempt to hide how its arrived at PR

What Google will show you in backlinks can be way off the mark - they show what they feel like when they feel like.
Using Yahoo to check your backlinks is more reliable.

plus with yahoo you can check links to the page or links into the entire domain AND can filter out certain domains out of the backlinks

newreality: Googlebot is crawling sites all the time. If you have a couple of PR4 inbound links you will get crawled daily. Many times before a BL update you see lots of Googlebot activity. It has been reported in a number of the forums that people are seeing often crawls and deep crawls. Now Google just came up with a new bot also so we don't know for sure.
Even if there is a BL update and a real PR update that doesn't mean Google will update the toolbar displayed PR. We have had 4 BL updates since June 22 and although there has be directory displayed PR update the toolbar displayed PR has not been updated. However no PR has been established. Generally how much time does it take after the index to start getting PR, if that's possible to say for now. On the Google Information for Webmasters (http://www.google.com/webmasters/) they state they update the index "about once a month." If you look at my PageRank Update List (http://www.seocompany.ca/pagerank/pr/page-rank-update-list-history.php) you will see that the toolbar updates were about once a month until June 22. Since then we have not had a update of the toolbar but we have had 4 BL updates. About one every month. From my observations, Google isn't displaying the backlinks it's using for PR.Thats correct, Google is not displaying all the BLs. This maybe a reaction to what Google considers manipulation of there index by people puchasing or trading links for their Ranking or PR value.
