Hi there everyone, I keep seeing the following included in page keywords, descriptions etc.

<meta name="DC.Keywords" content="SEO" />

Can anyone tell me what it is. In some cases I have seen also the following put in twice.

<meta name="DC.Keywords" content="SEO" />
<meta name="keywords" content="SEO" />

That's fine, the only reason I ask is becuase some of the website's that I am competing against have strong positions, and i noticed that they all had their meta tags suited to this dc organisation as well as the normal..

Dublincore metadata is ignored by search engines. DC metadata is usually used by Government departments etc.

The Dublincore metadata isn't the reason these sites outrank you.....
