The company I work for is having an internal SEO competition to see who can rank the highest across 5 major search engines. You get 10 points for #1, 9 for #2, 8 for #3 and so on.... The person with the highest aggregate score wins.
The word we chose was "yoshirolla kilomantra". I put my page here up on my website, davehamel.com. The page is totally fugly but it is a nonsense phrase which prior to the contest didn't show up on any engine. So, I am having to generate content for a phrase that has no meaning.
So the contest started a week ago and I shot up to number one on Google but there is no sign of me on MSN. Do I need to do anything specific for MSN? With Google I build the sitemap.xml and verified my site but I can't find anything on MSN like that to promote my site. Because it is scored across 5 engines being #1 on Google is meaningless if I can't get at least some points on MSN. Any advice?
Thanks.
