The big three Search Engines agreed on adding a line in your robots.txt file for sitemap discovery.
Sitemap: http://www.example.com/sitemap.xml
Copy and paste this in the first line and leave an empty line under it. That's it ;) . Of course replace example.com with your url and whatever the filename is for your sitemap. Just be sure to leave a space after Sitemap:.
