In the late 90's when the internet-bubble bursted, what did you guys do?
I never really thought about this, but just came to the conclusion, that it probably affected employees and consultants a lot, as companies weren't as big on investing in the web anymore (to put it mildly), but had lost all faith in the web.
But that people with their own sites/online shops were not affected by it at all, as surfers probably did not stop using the internet/purchasing products on the web, because of the dot-com-bubble as it didn't mean anything to them really and the internet was still extremely useful to them.
Is that right or am I jumping to conclusions and even people who relied mostly on their own sites (and sold products not ad space) had difficulties?
