If a site is expanding its service to include Central America and parts of S. America for the first time, what things should be considered for good ranking and conversion? Any ideas would be appreciated.

catering to the appropriate genres of the local languages...should have a local from various locations make sure their stuff is good.

in the UK mind the gap is english and it means something...in the US one would likely not understand the same phrase

also some of the countries have an extremely small web population
