G local seach

I was reading the Google blog (http://www.google.com/googleblog/) - found out they are beta-testing the Google Local (http://local.google.ca/) search engine for Canada. I was wondering if any of you cannucks have tried it, is it helpful, etc. Looks kinda cool, wonder when they plan unvieling the US version.

OK, I'll admit it, this is not my usual forum. I pretty much try to stick to AdWords. But I was roaming SEW, eitemiller, and saw your post.
