An Agency I work with is attempting to sell me on this program at a rev-share model.

This is the information behind the service-

Google Commerce Advertisements

Bidding and Placement
The bidding strategy will follow the standard Adwords CPC methodology.
Since the ad will run on the content network, separate bidding can be applied so search campaigns will remain unaffected.
Essentially, the advertisement placement is based upon standard keyword bidding tactics with contextually relevant placement on the content network; as with the standard contextual targeting process, the Google Commerce Ads targeting system considers both the adgroup keywords and the ad creative text.
Site targeting and user-level geo-targeting is also available to specific ad placements.
Ads compete against other text, image, Flash and video ads for placements on a page.

Does anyone have any experience with this program? What is an ROI I should expect by using this type of advertising? It is my understanding that it is a beta program or in a pilot stage.
