I have been playing around with the newly revamped Google "Universal Search". For those of you that don't know, Google is now incorporating videos and blogs and news stories and every other Google product into their search listings. This is all well and good, but the search engine marketer in me wonders if this means that my PPC ads at the top of the page are gone. Are search marketers now resigned to only being on the right hand side of the page? Is the decreased shelf space going to jack up CPCs.
Any thoughts?
