1. I have read that Google, because of Keyword abuse, stopped using Keywords several years ago when calculating pageranks. Is this still true?
2. When specifying Meta Name Keywords for each webpage, is it best to use the same large list of keywords for each page, or should i tailor the keywords depending on the contents of each page? As an example, lets say i have a very small website that sells jewelry from 3 different countries. The name of the company is Jewelry Mart. It consists of the following 5 pages:
1. Landing (Home) page
2. Indian jewelry
3. Celtic jewelry
4. Canadian jewelry
5. Shipping/Returns
Should i set the keywords for page 3 (Celtic Jewelry) like this:
Jewelry mart, jewelry, jewelry gifts, indian jewelry, indian bead jewelry, indian turquoise jewelry, turquoise, celtic, celtic jewelry, celtic watches, celtic rings, canada, canadian, canadian jewelry, canadian rings, canadian watches
Or this:
Jewelry mart, jewelry, jewelry gifts, celtic, celtic jewelry, celtic watches, celtic rings,
