Brief Background
I have a portfolio of some 300+ sites all on the same theme, but warrant separate sites. They're all database driven (from one huge CMS) but there's never been any inverted indexes for full page searching.
So....
I took a few sites and added them to a google custom search engine, which works beautifully. Some new sites that were only getting limited spidering and no rankings come up in my CSE for the terms they're supposed to rank for.
Now....
All I need to do is drive traffic to my CSE.
My question is...
Has anyone successfully driven large quantities of traffic to a CSE?
The results a pulled in from javascript, so linking to CSE SERPs gives the same html source code (duplicate content) - so is there a linking strategy that could work for the CSE?
[This is more of a brain storming thread; so any ideas, other questions or experiance is welcome here]
