Hai Buddies,
Today when I saw, my site's page rank is dropped to PR5 from PR6.
Any body noticing the similar changes in page rank? Google is doing page rank update?

Hi
I noticed over the weekend that my PR on my personal website has jumped up two PRs. I have not been paying too much attention to my site recently but I think Google must have done a update within the last few days.

I did not notice a huge drop in SERPS. But I came across this tool [edit] in some SEW threads. When I tried my site through this tool also, for few datacenters my site's PR is 5 and in some other PR 6.
Is it a PR update? Will I get my PR back again, after this update (!) ?

In SERPs, ranks are same for many keywords, but for few, dropped to 2nd, 3rd pages.
The PR is dropped from 6 to 5.
Any ideas ? Is this only for my site or is this a Google Update?

Likely an update but I wouldn't worry about it

Don't get hung up on PR as a measure of a sites quality

But, it seems to be web-wide
At least most of my competitors have dropped one notch (75%)
I went from 5 to 4
I may not mean a lot as some have said, but it must mean something. So far the serps have stayed the same

oftentimes positions change after or before the PR update, so i have seen that happen. Also, PR is a metric of a sites importance relating to link quality. If your PR goes down and a competitors goes up -- i would not view that as meaningless

There is defo an update going on I think it started at the weekend, always best to sit back and let the dust settle before changing anything.
Easy for me to say as I've gone from PR6 to PR7, although not yet across all data centres. Also most competitor sites seem to have dropped PR too, so looking good for me right now - will be interesting to see/hear what factors have been tweaked in this update in due course. :)

Bare with me, pretty new to the entire SEO scene. I made slight changes over the last 2 months in regards to title tags, etc. Not even changing the home page, and over this past weekend, dropped from a PR4 to a PR3.
How often does this happen, and how do you get back to where you were?
