It's been noticed that over recent months Google is taking up to 2 months to give PageRank to new sites.

(Sites don't get PageRank, pages do.)
Pages get a PageRank score as soon as they're crawled and indexed. However, what you see in the toolbar (or elsewhere) -- the public PageRank -- is only updated about 4-5 times a year.
