Google Checkout finally in the UK

Google Checkout’s launched in the UK today. Although you have to go to checkout.google.com to register.

Be interesting to see if they’re as generous with the incentives as they were in the US - Adwords vouchers etc and free transactions if you hit their targets. Apparently they picked up a 30% market share over the pond – anybody know if that’s true? Seems incredible, even for Google. Suspect Paypal got wind of the launch – they’ve been advertising in the press.
