Which keywords should I choose from this list? low or high competitive words?

Hi

I did a search for Nile cruise on the Yahoo search tool, but the keyword
"nile cruise" gets thousands of searches. I read in a book to use low
competitive keywords when your a newcomer, the ones I choose are below:

cairo nile cruise 27
nile cruises package - 40
nile cruise boat - 85
nile cruise ship 130
cheap nile cruise 171

Which ones are best to use? the ones below 85 searches (nile cruise boat) or something higher like "cheap nile cruise" which got 171 last month?

Have you tried optimizing for any of them? That might help you - that's the simple SEO answer...just do it.

But do you need to be more practical? Then you should ask yourself - does using the lower end searches get you the type of traffic you want?

Generally, the value of low end searches is that it brings in more specialized traffic - people who are looking for something specific, possibility of higher conversion rates with lower traffic.
