I recently read about Google Adsense offering Pay-Per-Action ad (beta). Basically the PPA ads works similar to PPC ads. But in PPA, the person who clicks has to perform an action (e.g. fill out a form or download a file). Only if this action is preformed the website would generate revenue. So no revenue when a person clicks the ads.
Its good to hear that Google has come up with such an ad. Like regular adsense, these ads definitely increases revenue for websites. However, I was wondering if the tool is any different from the tool what an Affiliate Network company would offer its user.
If its not different, is Google then trying to take a share in the highly profitable market of Affiliate networking like LinkShare & Commission Junction?
