Hello,

YouTube's search engine returns results to you based on what words you type into the search field just like any other engine. Can anyone advise me on how YouTube's search engine prioritizes videos based on title names or names of tags that are entered into the field?

YouTube's search engine returns results to you based on what words you type into the search field just like any other engine. Can anyone advise me on how YouTube's search engine prioritizes videos based on title names or names of tags that are entered into the field?

YouTube's search engine has changed drastically at least once since Google took it over. Before Google, it barely worked at all. Now it seems to have behavior similar to Google's main engine. For example, it now understands quoted phrases and "-", which it originally did not.
