Hi, when adding keywords i often get this in google adwords

going home(to be added)
Minimum bid: £0.03
Overlaps with: [going home], "going home"

This is just an example. Surely each term typed into google will produce different results and rankings?

What is best to do here? Leave as is or delete one?

If delete, then which one?

Okay you have three different instances of keywords here...

going home - is broad matched
"going home" - is phrase match
[going home] is exact match

hopefully you know the differences, each reaches different people and searches, though if you have only one then broad match covers all three.

Use negatives for broad and phrase.

Just out of curiosity, what product is sold with "going home?"

going home without brackets or quotes would bring in real estate, jokes, lottery, gambling, all sorts of stuff.

The overlap statement isnt always accurate. Ive seen broad matches with distintive differences come back with 'overlap' smacked on them.
