New England SEM event and organization

I haven't seen it discussed here yet, so I figured I'd let everyone know there is a new SEM association serving the New England region: SEMNE.

The first event is tonight 3/6/2007 in Newton Mass. Fredrick Marckini of iProspect will speak on the topic: "Search Centric — The Future Of Marketing (http://www.semne.org/meetings/search-centric/)"

The next event is 5/2/07 somewhere in Connecticut. Stephen Turcotte of Backbone Media will speak on "Blogging and Search Rankings (http://www.semne.org/meetings/blogging-search-rankings/)"

There is also a networking event in April.

I'm not involved yet with the organization, I'm just sharing the news... so check out the website for more details.

The second SEMNE (Search Engine Marketing New England) networking event, Blogging and Search Engine Rankings. (http://www.semne.org/meetings/blogging-search-rankings/), is taking place tonight in Bloomfield, Connecticut (just outside of Hartford).

As of Tuesday night, there is still space available, according to Jill Whalen's post (http://www.highrankings.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=29978&hl=), so if you're in the area, check it out.
