Our sites include CarsDirect.com, Autos.com, LoanStore.com, LoanApp.com and others within the auto, mortgage and travel verticals. We are currently seeking a tech-savvy Manager of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) who will be responsible for managing projects related to the indexing and optimization of content across all the Internet Brand’s sites. This position reports to the VP of Online Marketing.
Specific Responsibilities include:
Track key metrics relating to current search engine performance (visitors, rankings, conversion, etc.) using existing software and analytics tools
Identify "best practices" with regard to optimizing websites and work with GM’s of verticals and tech. group to propagate knowledge throughout the organization
Through research, analysis of key metrics, and working with GM’s to understand business priorities, help identify new projects to expand visibility in search engines across multiple Internet Brands’ websites
Write Requirements Documents for SEO projects
Work with Technology Department to implement projects
Help solve various departmental reporting needs
Qualifications:
2+ years experience with optimizing websites for search engine indexing
Technical knowledge of: HTML, XML, SQL, .Net/Java/PHP a big plus
Understanding of project management
Able to interact professionally with all levels of staff
Highly analytical, logical, and good problem solver
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
Solid skills with Excel and Access
Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
