SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING ANALYST, PAID SEARCH
We are looking for an Search Engine Marketing/Web Analytics Manager to plan, direct, and manage internet marketing campaigns and partnerships with a focus on SEM.
Essential Job Functions:
Source, evaluate, negotiate, and implement internet marketing campaigns and programs, with a strong focus on paid search campaigns.
Develop, actively test, and analyze keywords, titles, descriptions, bidding strategies and landing page URLs to maximize results, drive volume, and hit targets.
Assist in overseeing the execution of and measuring the success of online marketing efforts, specifically in regards to paid search campaigns and internet display advertising campaigns.
Continually evaluate and improve effectiveness of online campaigns and partnerships
Researches, analyzes, and monitors search campaigns on a daily basis.
Communicates with search engines and media vendors, maintaining strong relationships, on ongoing Web-based campaigns providing updates and information and constantly reviews the marketplace for new online opportunities
Manage tracking, reporting and analysis of marketing campaigns and programs; provide management reports and insight as needed.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Advertising or Marketing or equivalent work experience.
1-2 year’s experience managing large paid search campaigns with Tier 1 and Tier 2 search engines required.
Previous experience managing, optimizing, and growing multiple online marketing and advertising campaigns and partnerships.
Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions and determine strategies based on data.
Proficiency in and experience with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel, web browsers, HTML and HTML editors such as Dreamweaver or Homesite and basic skills in Natural Search Optimization.
Previous experience with web analytics and bid management software a plus.
