We're on a recruitment drive at Propellernet (http://www.propellernet.co.uk/), a client-serving search engine marketing agency, looking to fill a couple of roles at our London office.
Junior SEO
This role involves providing crucial assistance to the Natural Search team on all areas of our client campaigns, including the following:
analysing websites
link development
campaign performance analysis and reporting
Full training is provided by our highly experienced team, though the following will stand you in good stead:
Basic principals of search engine optimisation
Understanding of web communities and social media
Familiarity with HTML and related programming languauges
Passionate about the internet
Hardworking and ambitious
Ideally you will progress to a more senior role within 18 months.
Web developer
We are developing our range of in-house tools for analysis of campaign data, ranging from web analytics and search engine analysis, through to our bespoke client/project centre. As such, we require an experienced person to join our team, bringing skills in the following areas:
Technical Skills:
Development languages: PHP (plus knowledge of other leading languages, such as ASP, Coldfusion, etc.)
Database skills (MySQL, etc.)
Server knowledge
Experience working with API’s
Client side scripting (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.)
AJAX
Understanding of SEO to at least a basic level
Personal attributes:
Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
Self motivated
Team player
Client facing
Your projects in the first 6 months will include the development of a project dashboard for client reporting, tools for analysing search engine data, assist with the development of internal websites, and technical assistance on SEO/SEM client projects.
