My main question is "Do directories still have a future with the increased complexity of search sites?".
I've been out of the search loop for the last few years, working in non-search related industries and have recently been offered to help build / promote an established localised directory.
I'd appreciate if anyone could either point me in the right direction reagarding any research or articles on the question above or if you have time for a response that would be great too!
