Indexed old pages

Hello,

I own a website that i recently updated it's content.
I had an old blog that i removed from my website (about a month ago).
Google is still showing some of my blog posts. how long will it take until google takes off its index from my old blog posts.

Has your domain name changed? If so you need to do a 301 re-direct (http://seobloguk.blogspot.com/2006/11/search-engine-friendly-redirect-301.html) from you old blog to the new one. That should sort it in a few days.
