Is it possible to upload or import multiple locations at once? We have a client with over 1,000 franchises in the U.S. who'd like to begin running local business ads. We'd like to oblige but would also like to prevent carpal tunnel among our media buyers.

Sure, google lets you upload a data file. For details go to URL below, and click on "Edit/Add Your Business" at base of left nav bar.

Thanks, but this is not for the Local Business Center, it's for local business ads within AdWords.

Are you sure the two things are different :)
Here's Google's "Local Business Center" with the same volume upload feature: http://www.google.com/local/add

Yes, they're different. Here's what I heard today from my AdWords rep:

I understand that you would like to upload multiple locations for local
business ads into your client's account. The bulksheet feature used to be
available for a limited number of advertisers. However, we're in the
process of discontinuing bulksheets entirely.

There is currently no tool available to bulk upload local business ads.
You may be interested in using AdWords Editor, our free, downloadable
campaign management application. At this time, AdWords Editor is does not
support local business ads uploads. While we do not have a definitive
timeline, we are continuously working to expand the tool and hope to
include this functionality for local business ads in the future.
