You got a long way to go. Start with optimization your web pages. Integrating the right keywords onto pages and title tags.

Building backlinks is the other part of search engine optimization. This is very time consuming.

My suggestion is to read the book "Search Engine Optimization for Dummies" 2nd edition. It covers pretty much everything you need to know. It won't hurt to talk with a SEO pro and that will get you on the right track fast.
