Hi
I would like to ask the following:
How long does it normally take between the G crawl (the date of which is presented on the cached page) and the time the indexed page is available on the search engine.

If you can see the page cache, then it is already available. maybe not ranking for anything, but available.

Actually I checked the last crawl date on the cache and the date was the 6th.
However I could only access this info on the 10th.

Therefore the question is:
is it reasonable to have a 4 day interval from the crawling date (as declared on the cached page), till the time the index was made available ?

Is four days reasonable? Sure.

Google constantly pushes new data (on whatever schedule it happens to go by), and depending on what part of the wave the page happens to catch it can take from this amount of time to that amount of time for a recently crawled page to appear in the index.

And I'm really not trying to be snide or funny by using this and that as there really is no way to pin down an exact time. Anywhere from one to a few days is probably the best answer.
