multiple site owners?

Hi guys,

Im not 100% sure on how best to implement this so would really appreciate some clarification. I currently own multiple sites that are themed together. Lets assume im in the world of widgets. I have three websites, widgets.com, widgets.co.uk and widgets.ie. I should "become an expert" in the field of widgets so I create a brand new site with the focus of providing content and information on widgets, widgetinfo.com.

From a general and seo point of view, how would I tie each of these four sites together? could I run each on a dedicated server and xlink each. Would it be best to actually create this new site or should I have it as a "resource" section on each of the three websites?

It should depend on your purpose of getting the four domain names especially if the content of each is the same and your purpose is mainly for rankings rather than serving a specific market.

My objective for the long run so to speak is to improve rankings but I do want to provide a useful site that will be informative to my users.
