In the last two weeks we have added some new targeted web pages to our site. It was just this week that they started showing up in the search engine rankings, some top 10 and top 5. My question is when a new page "debuts" will it continue rise, will it fall or just stay the same. I know that it is just natural for pages to move up and down some, but since they are new pages would it be a natural progression for them to move up sicne they have only been up for two weeks or can we expect these current ranking to be it.

Thanks

I think it would be safe to say that your ranking will be directly proportional to the effort you put in. Your ranking will also change in realtion to how much effort your competitors put into their seo too

When it comes to search engine rankings, the only thing you can bet on is the constant changes. If your market isn't very competitive, your top rankings may stay longer. Otherwise, it can fluctuate very drastically. The best way to keep them high is to build more solid links.

It really depends on how competitive the keyword phrases are. You already got the best advice in the previous posts: keep working at link building & constant change is guaranteed!
